On Saturday we got up and Aunt Sue presented us with a list of fun things to do in the area. Barb's pick - Lavender farm. My pick - craft sale at Bethany on the boardwalk.
Our first stop was the Lavender farm.
It's out of season right now, but still fun.
Lots of butterflies and bees...
Lavender chairs...
Swings
They had interesting statues made out of glass pieces.
Lamb's ear
After the Lavender farm we headed back to the beach. We got sidetracked at a farm (the large ice cream sign drug us in...can you see the giant ice cream cones on the silo?!?).
Katelynn had mint chocolate chip with chocolate sprinkles. I had Pumpkin pie ice cream - YUM (I LOVE fall!!!).
Denver was all smiles too!
Trying to eat her ice cream
They had a fun little play area. Katelynn got to climb on a "tractor" and wagon.
A fun painting...
This one didn't work so well - LOL
They had cows and calves that you could watch. I think this was the highlight of Katelynn's day.
Katelynn got mad when we were back in the car because the ear of her cow was all wet from Denver chewing on it.
We never did make it to the craft fair. By the time we got to the beach area it was over. The kids needed to get back and relax some too, so we called it an early day.
