Avalanche Training Camp

Being the big Avalanche hockey fans that we are we voyaged to the Avs Training Camp this past weekend. It was very cool!
Here is Katelynn on the way to the training camp. We got lots of compliments on her jersey at the camp.

I think she loves hockey as much as we do! Her eyes were glued on the players all morning.

Mommy was reviewing the list of players and of course Katelynn had to check it out too!

It was a fun *FREE* morning, and we're very happy we decided to check it out.

On Monday night we headed to the Avs Burgundy/White scrimmage game (they played themselves). It was a lot of fun and it allowed us to enjoy our team before we have to leave (5 1/2 weeks...but who is counting?!). Our good friend Christina babysat Katelynn, so Chris and I got to enjoy a nice evening out together.

And even though I think Chris looks very handsome in the above photo I'm attaching another photo of Chris for those who think he might have been unhappy or sick or something.  :)

We even ran into our friends Adam and Lauren at the game (Adam went to college with Chris)! They were a couple rows ahead of us - what are the odds in that?! (Adam is in the ball cap holding his phone up and Lauren is the blonde next to him). We got to hang out and catch up during the intermissions. They recommended some excellent food places that we have to try to get to before we leave!

It was a great weekend and evening out. We're definitely ready for hockey season now!!! We're hoping to get a regular season game in before we go, but that probably won't happen, so we're planning on attending the Avalanche vs Capitals game in Washington DC in December - and YES we will be there in FULL Avalanche gear! GO AVS!!! :)
