Children's Museum

We took Katelynn to the Children's Museum in Denver on the same day we went bowling. It's not really a museum at all - it's a giant play place for kids. (I think Chris really liked it because the Bronco's football stadium was right across the road!).

The first room you enter is a playarea for kids 3 and under. Katelynn got to climb, crawl, roll, just burn off a lot of energy in this area!

She LOVED the giant bears!

And the slide...

They had a drawing room, but Katelynn is not very good with chalk/crayons yet - she just wants to eat them!

They had a "garden" for the kids to play with too...

She got to climb on this "tree" and play with the netting.

This little "magic pot" lite up and was in a dark room - she loved it! She even figured out how to turn the handle without being shown!

After leaving this area, we came upon a firetruck! It was pretty neat - they had little fireman jackets and helmets for the kids to wear.

And you got to climb on the firetruck...

And the lights and siren worked...

After the firetruck we went upstairs. They had an arts and crafts room where Katelynn and Chris built a "truck."

Katelynn got a little bored while Chris was working on her "truck" so she climbed around and played with this thing...

Than we went into another play area, but this one was for bigger kids so we didn't stay in it long. They did have a pretty neat "bird nest" though.

On the way out we just had to stop and take Katelynn's photo with one of the "Cows on Parade" they had displayed. It's name was Hopscotch and you could write on her.

And of course we had to walk to the top of the hill so that Chris could get some shots of us with the stadium in the background...

Hope you enjoyed the photos, and until next time - take care!!
