Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos from Christmas 2009 with my family.
This was Katelynn's view of the trip! ToddDog liked to sit up and watch over all of us while Vinson and Kierra both took opposite sides of Katelynn.
One of our many rest stops.
Hmmm, what could this possibly be??
Check out those trees Da-da!
Very interesting...
What do you mean we have to get back in the car?!?
Dogs are starting to outnumber people at my parents place! Who would've thought that would ever happen? Turns out that all the dogs are indoor dogs except for Mom and Dad's. To keep dog hair down we were going to keep all the dogs outside. After being outside in the kennel for about an hour, Vinson decided that the outdoors were not for him. We were all sitting in the living room watching tv when someone said, "did you just see a brown dog run by??" Yeah, I saw something. So we venture outside only to realize that the brown dog was none other than my snow white husky! He apparently wasn't impressed with the kennel and dug himself out. Would you have recognized him?! It took Chris almost an hour to get all that mud off of him. Needless to say my spoiled dog got to spend the rest of the week inside the house.
Katelynn LOVED playing in Nana's front window with her curtains.
She is becoming quite the little helper, and offered to hold onto Nana's footstool while she hung Christmas lights.
Nana dug out Uncle Stew's old rocking horse for Katelynn. She loved it!
With in no time she was figuring out how to get on and off of it all by herself.
It occupied her for quite some time - at least until she remembered the Christmas tree with all those neat packages under it!
Christmas morning is always fun around my family. We used to spend it arguing over who got to wear the Santa hat, until one year Mom bought all of us our very own hats! We had to get Katelynn in on the tradition - which one do you like better?!
She preferred this one!
Katelynn managed to catch a little "bug" while we were driving across country, that she happily shared with the rest of the group! I was sick all Christmas Eve and morning, so Chris got to help Katelynn open all her fun gifts!
Aunt Barby wanted to do something special for Katelynn, so she decided to buy her a snowglobe. Katelynn loved it!!
ToddDog was plain worn out from all the excitment!
We had two Christmas celebrations this year. One on Christmas morning with my Sister and her husband, and another one on the weekend with Stew and Michaela. Of course we all had to be in football attire since it was Football Sunday! :)
Katelynn and Chris enjoying the game!
Hope you enjoyed the photos!
