This is just a quick little update on Katelynn at 13 months. She is still backwards in her carseat since she's not big enough to turn around, although her legs are starting to be too long. She LOVES her gym that her Aunt Heather gave her. Her most favorite thing to do is climb to the top and just sit there. This made me very nervous at first, but now she knows how to slide off of it and land on her feet - she's growing so fast!
We've been experimenting with a lot of things this month. We give her a spoon or fork with every meal, she's getting really good at using them except for when it comes to applesauce and speghetti! I think one of the worst foods is cottage cheese! - those little curds get everywhere! I still don't know how she gets them in her diaper when she eats fully clothed!! Here's a shot of her eating (or rather wearing) speghetti o's.
We've also started letting her drink out of a cup. Although this we don't do as much. She liked to drink out of our cups, and she does really good until you let her hold it. She likes to shake it so she covers herself, the table, and the dogs in water! It's quite the sight!
She's mastered crawling and has got a lot of speed now. Still not walking, but that should come soon enough. She crawls everywhere and on to every and any thing!
She also loves to clap! She claps with music or when she does something new. Here is a shot of her at Lyric's house clapping to the music.
