Clarkland Farms

Today we took the kids to Clarkland Farms. When I say we, I mean Megan and I. Megan's husband is deployed with Chris right now; she came to visit us on Monday and left this afternoon. It was great having someone else around the house - even if we were up past midnight talking both nights! This morning she made the kids blueberry pancakes and breakfast sausages.
Katelynn loved them! And yes, Mickey Mouse is on the tv behind her while she ate her Mickey Mouse pancakes.
 Denver liked them too!
After breakfast we headed to Clarkland Farms. It was a cute little place with lots to do for the kids.
They had miniature houses to check out.

Slides to go down - this one was in a giant purple shoe, but also had a yucky mud puddle at the bottom that both kids managed to land in.

 Tables that looked like mice.
 Slides that looked like mice.
 A petting zoo.
 More goats!

 Chickens

A goat that was loose that the kiddos were chasing
 Another loose goat

A slide that looked like Mother Goose

 Horses!

 A hay maze!

A boat you could go on

Mushrooms to sit on

And for $2 a cow train you could ride! Katelynn and Denver were in the last cow.

They loved it and were not happy when they had to get out. They also had a maze through the pine trees that was full of more little houses and story characters.

 And finally, finding a pumpkin!

It was a great day!
