Heart's Apart Bowling

The Navy has a Hearts Apart program for spouses when their spouse is deployed. We went to their August get together yesterday - we were the only one's there! Guess there are not a lot of deployed Navy on base or just not a lot of people who know about the program.
It was at the bowling alley on base. Katelynn and Denver both bowled a game using the big green dinosaur. The bowling alley was pretty empty and no one was in any of the lanes near us, so I let Denver walk around our little area. Big mistake. Little man took off on me and no, he didn't go for the seats, he went for the pins. He got halfway down lane 3 (2 down from us) before he fell. I shot out down the center on the gray areas and grabbed him. Silly little boy! Of course the manage comes over and says kids need to stay off of the lanes. Really?! What do you do with a little 18 month old boy who won't sit still?!
Stick him in a high chair and shove pizza at him (they bought a large cheese pizza for us).

 Of course Katelynn wanted some too!

 

 It wasn't bad pizza at all. Kids inhaled it, and Katelynn got a soda - Root Beer.

 

 

Then Katelynn went back to bowling - she got to bowl Denver's game too. She was having a great time, and Lollipop got to bowl and slide as well.
