Chris has a bunch of leave built-up so he took two weeks off to burn some. It's been nice having him around so much - he went back this morning, so I'm catching up on my blog. We took the kid's to a special Romp and Stomp Fair. They normally do Romp and Stomp (a 2 hour playgroup every Tuesday while school is insession on base for kids under 4) in the gym, but for the Fair they had vendors and toys in the gym, but also had the outside open for the kids to play. We got a bunch of free stuff, but Katelynn's favorite part was the "Princess" they had there.
She had her picture taken with her when we first got there (a Polaroid), and she kept going back to just stare at her...
She was so excited. Denver mostly stayed outside, he didn't want to play inside.
Inside he wanted to bowl, or pull a musical xylophone around the gym. I need to find him the same xylophone he loved it - he pulled it in circles around the gym for a good 30 minutes (and he picked it up and ran away when other kids tried to get it from him).
Katelynn played outside too, but not for long (she was worried about the Princess).
She played a fishing game inside, and won a package of Princess hairclips.
It was a fun morning!
