Four Corners

Four corners is the place where you can be in four places at one time - Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. It's one of the things we wanted to do before leaving.
We started our trip on Sunday, Oct24th, and we headed south on 25 and then West on 160 through CO. Our goal was to make it to Durango. We crossed over the Great Divide.

And of course it was snowing up at the higher altitudes. We let the dogs run around and tried to get Katelynn to play in the snow, but she wanted nothing to do with the "white stuff."

Katelynn loves tunnels so she was very excited to go through 2 of them, but was equally mad that we couldn't just make them reappear.
We got to see a lot of fall colors. It was funny going from fall to snow to fall again.

We made it to Durango Sunday night, and many of you know what happened early Monday morning. I'm not going to go into that again. We decided to cut our trip short. We did four corners (we were only an hour away) and then head south and come home through New Mexico (we actually drove through all 4 states). Turns out that we would've had to cut our trip short regardless because the northwest was getting 1-2 feet of snow and we wouldn't have made it to the CO National Monument without chains.
So, here are the pics from four corners. It was REALLY windy and storm clouds were moving in fast.

Then it was back to the car and on the road again.

Then it was back into CO and we went from rain to snow as we crossed over 2 passes.
