Crystal flew in for an extended weekend and some much needed girl time. We got our hair done, went shopping, saw a movie, went to Jazzercise, and just had a great weekend catching up. On Monday we made plans to head to the Zoo. We got up, went to Jazzercise and it was really overcast, so we weren't sure how it was going to go, but figured we'd head out anyway. We pulled up to the Zoo and the sun came out! It was a great day!! I've never been able to see all the animals like we did. Both Polar Bears were out lounging in the sun...
The Seals and Sea Lions were swimming, diving, and jumping for us.
There were Peacocks everywhere!! They were outside in the parking lot, hanging out behind bushes and even walking right in front of us.
The Bears were taking full advantage of the sun and doing a little sunbathing of their own.
There were Tigers lounging inside...
and outside - oh my!
There was an Artic Fox that looked like a cross of Vinson and Todd - right down to the one blue eye and one brown eye.
They were even training a Hyena!
The Lions were very impressive - I never knew they had this many!!
